Pikkujätti Medical Centre for Children and Youth – 28 years of service
Pikkujätti is the largest private chain of Finnish medical centres offering services to children and young people in Southern Finland. The Pikkujätti medical centre for children and youth started operations in 1987, when the first children’s medical centre was founded in Tapiola, Espoo.
In addition to the services of specialists and a child-friendly staff, the medical centres provide laboratory and allergy services. Pikkujätti also has hospitals operating in Tapiola, Itäkeskus and Kerava. Pikkujätti hospital performs outpatient surgical procedures. Ultrasound diagnostics for children is available at Pikkujätti Kamppi. Other imaging services are produced in co-operation with adult medical centres situated nearby.
Pikkujätti Medical Centre for Children and Youth was granted the right to use the Key Flag symbol in 2009. This symbol distinguishes the centre as a Finnish company that values excellent quality, safety and responsibility.
